Weak acid–strong base titration curve

An example figure from the Titration Curve generator.

Titration curve of 25.0 mL of 0.100 M acetic acid with 0.100 M NaOH, with the half-equivalence and equivalence points marked
The pH of 25.0 mL of 0.100 M acetic acid (CH₃COOH, pKa 4.76) as 0.100 M NaOH is added, up to 50 mL. The pH rises slowly through the buffer region, then steeply at the equivalence point, 25 mL, which is above pH 7. The half-equivalence point at 12.5 mL is marked too, where the pH equals the pKa.
